Make an appointment to connect with your Success Coach. You can meet virtually or
in person at our Brighton Campus. Appointment times fill quickly, so meet with your
Success Coach as early as you can.
While all students—especially new, returning, and transfer students—are encouraged
to meet with their Success Coach, advisement is not typically mandatory.
Success Coach Advisement is required for certain students, including:
SUNY ASAP students
Current students with a GPA below 2.0
Liberal Arts & Sciences students
Academic Department Advisement is required for students in the following programs:
Competitive Health programs (Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Surgical Technology) must
see their Academic Department for advisement and registration questions.
Public Safety Training Facility programs (Law Enforcement Recruit & In-Service Training, DCJS Training, Fire Protection Technology,
Certified First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, and Emergency
Medical Services Recertification)
