Steps to Meet your Success Coach
Every student at MCC is assigned a Success Coach who specializes in your academic
pathway. Your Success Coach is your go-to person for advising support, helping you
plan your courses and stay on track to meet your goals.
Before you can be assigned your Success Coach and start receiving advising support,
it’s important to complete your Letter of Intent. This form confirms your decision
to attend MCC and unlocks your ability to register for classes.
Here’s what you need to do:
1. Complete Your Intent to Enroll (Letter of Intent)
2. Log in to your MCC Application Status Page to access and complete the Intent to
Enroll form. This must be done before we can assign you a Success Coach.
3. Get Assigned a Success Coach
One or two days after submitting your Intent to Enroll, you will be assigned a Success
Coach, and you will have access to schedule an appointment
Virtual & In-Person Appointments Available
You can connect with your Success Coach either virtually or in person. Log in to your
myMCC account to schedule an appointment through Starfish (/go/starfish), our scheduling
system.
Find Your Success Coach or Assigned Advisor
Your assigned Success Coach can be found on your Degree Works worksheet or your Starfish
network page (/go/starfish). If you have trouble locating your advisor or have any
questions, feel free to email an Advisor (eadvisor@monroecc.edu) for assistance.
Special Notes for Some Students
If you’re in a program at the Applied Technologies Center or Public Safety Training
Facility, contact those departments directly for advising and registration.
