Get Started with Online Learning

Learn how to get started with online classes at MCC, from registering for courses to accessing the technology, resources, and support you’ll need.

How to Register & Enroll

  1. Apply to MCC (if you’re not already a student).  
  2. Meet with an advisor to choose a program or pick online courses. 
  3. Register for your classes through MyMCC, just like other courses. 
  4. Complete the online orientation if required. 
  5. Order your books and materials through the bookstore ahead of the semester. 

What You’ll Need for Classes

Getting started: Log in to Brightspace (MCC’s LMS) to access your online courses. Take the Online Student Orientation.  

Tech requirements: You’ll need a reliable computer, high‑speed internet, and basic familiarity with web tools. Being self‑motivated helps. 

Support you’ll get: MCC’s Virtual Campus Office helps with online orientation, tutoring, accessibility services, and registration.
