Acceptance to the Radiologic Technician A.A.S. degree program is highly competitive; acceptance by Monroe Community College does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Many students need to complete several required courses before starting Rad Tech courses. A.A.S.

Associate of Applied Science

In this program, you’ll learn how medical imaging works through classes like Anatomy & Physiology, Radiologic Technology Imaging Procedures, and Patient Care. Then build skills in real hospital settings during a series of clinical rotations. By graduation, you’ll be ready for ARRT certification and a career in radiography.

This program is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). JRCERT is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the national accreditation agency for radiographer programs.
