What You’ll Learn

In our Liberal Arts & Sciences: Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences program, you can explore a variety of topics, including Philosophy, History, Political Science, Sociology, Foreign Languages, and American Sign Language. 

You'll learn how to: 

  • Evaluate information and perspectives to build clear, supported arguments in speech and writing.  
  • Strengthen college‑level reading, research, and writing skills across multiple disciplines. 
  • Analyze how social structures relate to power, privilege, oppression, and opportunity.  
  • Apply scientific methods and reasoning in research and problem‑solving.  
  • Use ideas, theories, and methods from different fields to understand the natural and social world—culminating in a portfolio that shows ethical reasoning.
