Monroe Community College’s Child Care Practitioner A.A.S. degree blends hands-on learning with coursework in early childhood development, from infancy through age eight. Through a combination of classroom instruction and real-world field experience in childcare settings, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and practical experience employers are looking for—while strengthening your résumé along the way. Graduates are prepared for lead teacher roles in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten settings, as well as opportunities in early care curriculum development and educational coordination.
