Applying to MCC's CSTEP Program is Easy

CSTEP accepts students on a rolling basis, until the enrollment goal is met. This means that you are able to submit your CSTEP application anytime during the semesters, intersession or summer sessions. 

Once accepted, you become a CSTEP Scholar and will join peers and colleagues that have experienced success. You join the MCC and NY Statewide C/STEP family. Within this network, you will have access to resources beneficial to your educational journey.  

Incoming freshmen are also accepted through the CSTEP Summer Bridge program. This program is especially designed for High School senior that are accepted to MCC for the fall semester, to assist with the transition from high school to college.

Fill Out the CSTEP Application Form

• If accepted, the applicant will receive a notification email with the acceptance, as well as an appointment letter to meet with an Advisor. During this meeting, the Advisor will assist in completing an Academic Outline and developing a career plan.
• If not accepted, the applicant will receive a notification email with the reason for the decision. The applicant may request a meeting with the CSTEP Coordinator to review their application.
• If the application is unclear or incomplete, it will be denied.
• If additional information is needed, the applicant will receive an appointment letter to meet with an Advisor for further assessment.
